Premier Academy, Lugbe Flags off Tree Planting Campaign
Premier international schools Lugbe, has flagged off a tree planting campaign in-line with the Federal Government’s Mandate on Environmental revegetation and sustainability.
Present to flag off the tree planting campaign at the school, was General John Gbor.
In his speech, during the flag-off, he noted the importance of the tree planting campaign for the environmental sustainability in Nigeria and reduction of carbon emission and global warming.
The school Principal Mr. Chris Akinsowo, in his response noted that the school was delighted to participate in the Federal Government’s Mandate on tree planting campaign. He further noted that the school had for long keyed into the idea and as could be seen, the school environment was well vegetated with trees.
The school Head girl in her response to questions from members of the Press, said that students of the school will maintain the tree planting culture, not just in the school, but in their homes and other environments where they find themselves in.
The coordinator of the Programme, Mr Igwe Martins, thanked the school for Participating in the Programme, and equally thanked General John Gbor for finding time to attend the flag-off programme.
