Road Construction: Don’t Litter Milverton Avenue With Refuse, Hon. Akomas Warns Inhabitants
…Commends Gov Ikpeazu for Level of Work on the Roads
Following the commissioning of completed road projects and ongoing ones in Aba, the commercial nerve centre of Abia State, inhabitants have been urged to stop littering those roads with refuse.
The Councilor representing Ward 13, Aba Motor Park and Chief Whip of the fifth Aba South Legislative Council, Hon. Augustine Akomas has advised people of his Ward not to litter Milverton Avenue, Aba with refuse as this will portray them as ungrateful people that sabotage the efforts of the State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.
Hon. Akomas, who spoke with newsmen in Aba, pleaded with the people of his Ward, to co-operate with the contractor handling the roads by giving him the best of support as he is poised to deliver the road in time.
He enjoined them to always co-operate and support the administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu (Ph.D), whom he said has reshaped Aba through massive road constructions, adding that their attitude towards roads in Aba will motivate the Governor to do more.
The Chief Whip of the Aba South Legislative Council, commended the Governor for the ongoing Reconstruction of Milverton Avenue road, Aba, noting that the strategic nature of the road, makes it imperative, assuring that the people of his Ward will be supportive of the contractor handling the road project.
