NYERERE ANYIM SALUTES NIGERIAN CHILDREN ON CHILDREN’S DAY
- The 27th of May, institutionalizes our children’s day. A day we honour them, and address what will make their future right.
- To our Children; this year’s celebration, is of a kind, due to the corona pandemic, which could not permit the usual fun fair associated with the day, such as; the Children March-pass, football game, and other competitions.
- Our children’s stay at home during this period, have offered most parents a closer Bond of affinity and interaction, with their children. Especially the working class parents, who usually don’t have time for their children. Am sure this period must have afforded our children something to learn from their parents, during this stay at home.
To the various state governments across the country, who made sure that the academic curriculum didn’t go moribund during this time, I say thank You.
Once again, happy Children’s Day.
