Gov. Godwin Obaseki, His Deputy, Phillip Shuaib and their Wives Pays Thank You Visit to Wike
The newly re-elected Governor of Edo state, His Excellency, Godwin Obaseki, his Deputy, Comrade Phillip Shuaib and their respective wives, today, paid a thank you Visit to Governor Nyesom Wike or Rivers State.
In his thank you speech, Governor Obaseki Stated that; “It was at the Rivers State Government house that his march to victory began. That when his former party the APC pushed him away, that it was to Governor Wike he first ran to, God used him to help”
In his response, Gov. Wike stated that: It was he Gov. Wike that should be thanked, because for God to use people, the people/Person must make themselve available to be used to retire godfathers. He went on to say; he sincerely thank Gov. Obaseki because, it is not easy to have the courage to stand against certain forces and say for whatever its worth, I will stand for the people of Edo state and make sure that Edo people get the best.
